Description
We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accountant to join our team.
Job Overview:
The accountant will handle daily financial transactions, maintain financial records, prepare financial reports and accounts reconciliation (bank statement, accounts payable, and accounts receivable) and supporting month-end and year-end close processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Proficiency in Financial Accounting and Bookkeeping.
* Ensure the prompt and accurate recording of all accounting entries.
* Review and process expense reports
* Maintain and verify vendor files and payments
* Oversee payroll functions
* Reconcile accounts for monthly closing
* Maintain thorough and organized financial records, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
* Participate in annual audit.
* Work closely with other departments, including HR, Operations, and Management, to ensure the smooth flow of financial information and operations.
* Reconcile accounts for monthly closing and assist in year-end closing procedures, ensuring all financial data is accurate and complete.
Desired Skills & Experience
Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in accounting.
* Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience working in Qatar.
* Proficiency in preparing financial reports and maintaining accurate financial records
* Ability to work independently, take initiative, and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
* Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial regulations, and internal controls.
* Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
